War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast
Adapted by Joe Landry

In the classic sci-fi novel, War of the Worlds, written by H. G. Wells, humanity was thrown into sheer panic and utter chaos due to the arrival of extraterrestrial beings. However, in Orson Welles's 1938 radio adaptation of the novel, listeners misinterpreted the play as news, and mayhem arose. Now in 1948, a decade later, the WBFR radio station revives the infamous evening with the full original broadcast, including live sound effects and vintage commercials.
